Murat Karayilan: 400 PKK guerillas participated to Aktütün
Murat Karayilan, one of the PKK leaders (Kurdish Democratic Society Confederation -KCK), told the Firat News Agency that he did not think the commander of the Aktütün military post had made a terrible mistake, that he believed he had acted in accordance with military tactical principles.Karayilan also added that the assault was a success from their perspective and an unsuccessful resistance for the Turkish army.

Kurdish Info 01.11.2008-Van shop owners and buisness's lead the mass protests against Turkish Prime Minister Tayip Erdogan by shutting down their shops.Mass protests broke out despite the security forces taking extreme measures in the city centre. Security forces attacked the protestors and as a result there are many injuries.
